This study aims to examine the history of the establishment of the Telu Museum and its role in educating the public about the appreciation of art and culture in Jember Regency. The background of the study is based on the cultural richness in Jember Regency, the result of the acculturation of various ethnic cultures, which has not been balanced by the high public interest in museums as educational facilities. The approach used in this research uses a historical approach combined with a socio-cultural approach. The method used in this research is a historical research method with a qualitative approach through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that the Telu Museum is a preservation forum and an institution that plays a role as a means to educate the public about culture through various educational programs.
