This classroom action research (CAR) aims to improve student discipline in Physical Education, Sport and Health (PJOK) learning through the implementation of Student Contract at Class VII A of SMPN 13 Banjarbaru. The study employed a two-cycle CAR design following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were 29 students of Class VII A. Data were collected through a discipline questionnaire and an observation sheet covering four discipline indicators: punctual attendance, use of proper equipment, compliance with activity rules, and following teacher instructions. The success criterion was set at a minimum questionnaire score of 75% (Good category). Pre-cycle data showed a questionnaire average of 30.60% (Very Poor) and an observation average of 39.91% (Poor). After Cycle I, the questionnaire average rose to 61.81% (Sufficient) and the observation average to 59.78% (Sufficient). By the end of Cycle II, the questionnaire average reached 83.45% (Good) and the observation average reached 79.87% (Good), both surpassing the success threshold. The total improvement from pre-cycle to Cycle II was 52.85 percentage points on the questionnaire and 39.96 percentage points on the observation sheet. These findings demonstrate that Student Contract is an effective strategy for improving student discipline in PJOK learning at the junior high school level.
