This study was motivated by the finding that the learning process is still dominated by lecture-based methods and the limited use of teaching aids. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using interactive teaching aids in increasing student engagement and interest in the learning process at the elementary school level. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and recording of student activities during the learning process. The results of the study indicate that the learning media used—specifically, a model of the human respiratory system—is effective in positively impacting student engagement and interest in learning.
