<![CDATA[Character development in elementary school students plays a crucial role in shaping identity and fostering a strong sense of nationalism, particularly in cultivating a sense of patriotism. However, the implementation of cultural arts education in elementary schools, especially in dance learning, has not been fully optimized due to limitations in teachers’ competencies and supporting facilities. This study aims to analyze the role of traditional dance learning, describe the characteristics of the Mojang Priangan dance as a learning medium, and examine its relevance as an alternative approach to fostering patriotism among elementary school students. This research employs a literature review method with a narrative approach by examining various relevant scientific sources. The findings indicate that traditional dance learning plays a significant role in instilling patriotism through cultural introduction, emotional engagement, and direct learning experiences. The Mojang Priangan dance possesses characteristics that support its use as a learning medium, such as relatively simple movements, closeness to local culture, and the incorporation of values such as grace, politeness, and cultural identity. Furthermore, this dance is relevant as an alternative learning approach because it is practical, contextual, and capable of increasing student engagement. Therefore, the Mojang Priangan dance can be utilized as an effective learning medium to support character development and foster a sense of patriotism among elementary school students.]]>
