<![CDATA[This study was motivated by the phenomenon of declining social awareness and empathy among students due to technological advancements and the rise of individualism in society. These conditions underscore the importance of instilling values of social awareness through habitual activities. One of the efforts undertaken by Al-Ikhwan Sesait Islamic High School is through the Friday charity activity as a religious program to foster social concern, empathy, and the habit of sharing among students. This study aims to describe the process of internalizing social concern values through Friday charity activities, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis methods used were data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions; data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the process of internalizing social concern values occurs through three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization. The supporting factors for this activity are: (1) structured school programs; (2) teacher role modeling; and (3) the growing awareness of students. The inhibiting factors are: (1) the influence of the social environment, (2) varying economic conditions.]]>
