<![CDATA[This study was motivated by the poor math learning results of fourth-grade pupils at SDN 14 Gadut, Agam Regency. The use of tangram media in conjunction with the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to teach the subject of composition and breakdown of planar forms was one attempt to overcome this problem. Three cycles of preparation, action, observation, and reflection were used in this study's Classroom Action Research design. The research involved sixteen fourth-graders. Data was collected through observation, recording, and learning accomplishment tests. The results showed that throughout the cycles, the quality of the learning process improved continuously. Both instructor and student activities improved and fell into the "very good" category, while the lesson plan assessment score rose from 86.11% to 94.44%. Additionally, the average learning outcomes of students rose from 76.52% to 89.63%. These results show that using tangram media in conjunction with the Contextual Teaching and Learning strategy may significantly improve students' learning outcomes in mathematics.]]>
