<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in implementing multicultural education in elementary schools. Multicultural education is important because cultural, religious, and social diversity among students may lead to discrimination and low tolerance if not managed properly. This research employed a qualitative approach using a literature review design involving 25 national and international scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025. Data were collected from Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and accredited educational journals, then analyzed using content analysis through data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teachers play strategic roles as cultural mediators, facilitators of inclusive learning, managers of multicultural classrooms, and agents of tolerance character building. The implementation of multicultural education is carried out through the integration of local culture, storytelling methods, ethnic literature, traditional games, and digital technology. The study concludes that multicultural education plays an important role in developing students who are tolerant, democratic, and respectful of diversity.]]>
