<![CDATA[This study is motivated by the importance of literature as a medium for affective education and cultural literacy, particularly in representing global culinary identity. However, studies on literary gastronomy in Indonesian young adult novels remain limited. This research aims to analyze the representation of Parisian culinary identity in the novel La Fleur Cachée. This study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design and text analysis. The population is the entire novel text, while the sample consists of gastronomic-related excerpts selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis was conducted using inductive content analysis. The findings reveal that Parisian cuisine is represented through identity and political gastronomy, aesthetic, emotional and memory-based, and symbolic gastronomy. These representations strengthen the setting, develop characterization, and convey cultural meanings. In conclusion, the novel positions cuisine as a symbol of cultural identity and a medium for cross-cultural education.]]>
