<![CDATA[This study discusses an integrated Islamic approach through normative and historical analysis in the field of Islamic religious education. In the normative aspect, this research refers to principles found in the Quran and Hadith to create comprehensive learning, with the main goal of fostering good morals and critical thinking skills. From a historical perspective, the review covers teaching methods applied by Prophet Muhammad SAW and the contributions of classical scholars such as Al-Ghazali in integrating various fields of knowledge. This integrated analysis explains ways to address current issues in Islamic education, including secular influences and disorganized curricula. By combining normative ideals and historical contexts, educators can design relevant, flexible teaching methods that support tolerance, intellectual depth, and practical application. This research uses a qualitative approach focused on literature analysis, with expected impacts on curriculum reform in madrasas and pesantrens in Indonesia. Ultimately, the integrated Islamic approach strengthens the position of religious education as a medium for creating social harmony and deepening individual piety.]]>
