<![CDATA[Student activeness during the learning process is one of the important factors influencing learning success; however, learning activities in elementary schools are still frequently dominated by lecture-based teaching, which causes students to become passive and less involved in classroom activities, leading to low student participation. One method that can be applied to improve student activeness is the question and answer method, which provides opportunities for students to interact directly through asking and answering questions so that the learning process becomes more communicative and participatory. This study aims to examine the implementation of the question and answer method in improving student activeness at the elementary school or madrasah ibtidaiyah level, using a qualitative approach with a library research design in which data were collected through documentation of relevant scholarly literature and analyzed descriptively-qualitatively. The findings show that the implementation of the question and answer method can increase student participation in the learning process, including asking questions, answering questions, and expressing opinions, and that this method can be considered an effective learning strategy to enhance student activeness in classroom learning.]]>
