<![CDATA[This research focuses on analyzing the forms and formation processes in social media posts, specifically on the facebook account pos-kupang.com. the research question is what forms of abbreviations exist and how they are formed on the facebook account pos-kupang.com. This research uses Harimurti Kridalaksana morphological theory regarding the forms of abbreviations and their formation processes, namely abbreviations, acronyms, fragments, contractions and letter symbols. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of free-speech listening and documentation. The result of this study revealed 82 forms of 92 abbreviation formation processes. This research indicates that abbreviations and acronyms are the most dominant forms of abbreviations used on the facebook account pos-kupang.com.]]>
