PERAN KONTEN DAKWAH TIKTOK PADA AKUN @hananattakistory DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN AGAMA ISLAM MAHASISWA PAI UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI MATARAM ANGKATAN 2022

The rapid development of information technology and social media has transformed the way Islamic da’wah is delivered, particularly through TikTok, a platform widely used by young people. Amid the increasing presence of entertainment content and various forms of digital information, there is a need for da’wah media that can effectively enhance students’ understanding of Islamic teachings. This study aims to identify the forms and contents of da’wah messages presented on the TikTok account @hananattakistory and to analyze their role in improving the Islamic religious understanding of students of the Islamic Education Study Program at State Islamic University of Mataram, Class of 2022. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants were selected purposively, consisting of Islamic Education students who actively use TikTok and follow the @hananattakistory account. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source, method, and time triangulation. The findings reveal that the da’wah content on @hananattakistory mainly consists of motivational messages, inspirational stories, prayers, religious advice, and invitations to spiritual transformation (hijrah), containing messages related to aqidah (faith), akhlak (morality), and sharia (Islamic law). The content contributes to enhancing students’ religious understanding, strengthening their emotional and spiritual awareness, and encouraging positive behavioral changes. Students become more knowledgeable about Islamic values, more motivated to perform religious obligations, improve their moral conduct, maintain proper social interactions, and consistently apply Islamic teachings in their daily lives. Therefore, the TikTok account @hananattakistory serves as an effective digital da’wah medium in improving students’ understanding of Islam.
