<![CDATA[This study was motivated by the development of digital technology in education, particularly the use of digital tablet media in the learning process. The use of tablets is expected to assist teachers in delivering learning materials in a more interesting, interactive, and effective way in order to improve students’ learning interest. However, in practice, the use of tablets has not been fully optimized according to learning objectives. Initial observations at MTsN Gowa showed that some students used tablets for activities unrelated to learning, such as playing games and accessing social media, especially when teacher supervision was limited. This condition potentially reduces students’ attention during learning and affects their learning interest. This study aimed to describe the process of using digital tablet media in learning, identify students’ learning interest, examine the obstacles encountered, and determine the efforts made by teachers and the school to overcome these challenges at MTsN Gowa. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the use of digital tablet media created a more engaging and interactive learning environment and facilitated students’ access to learning resources. However, several obstacles were identified, including inappropriate use of tablets, insufficient supervision, and technical issues. Efforts to overcome these obstacles included improving supervision, providing guidance to students, and implementing rules for tablet use during learning activities.]]>
