<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the show and tell method on the punlic speaking skills of fourth-grade students. This stidy used a quantitative method with a Quasi-Experimental type wwith a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population was all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 143 Palembang. The sample consisted of 60 students from class IVC as the control class and class IVD as the experimental class. Random sampling was used as the sample selection technique. Data collection techniques in this study showed a significant increase in the experimental class, with an average pretest score of 53.27 and a posttest score of 75.80, while the control class had a pretest score of 49.53 and posttest score of 60.83. the t-test calculation obtained a significant value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, thus Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Thus, there was a significant difference in learning outcomes between before and after the use of the show and tell method. This method can improve stidents self-confidence, speaking fluency, and ability to express opinions orally.]]>
