<![CDATA[Numeracy ability is an essential competency in mathematics learning as it supports students in understanding, processing, interpreting data, and making decisions based on quantitative information. However, preliminary test results at SMAN 3 Mataram indicated that students’ numeracy skills were still relatively low, particularly in statistics material. This study aimed to determine the benefits of implementing Ethno-Sasak-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving students’ numeracy skills in statistics. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. The research subjects consisted of two classes: an experimental class that received learning through the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Ethno-Sasak-based LKPD and a control class that received direct instruction. Data were collected through numeracy tests, teacher and student observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed that the average numeracy score of students in the experimental class was , which was higher than that of the control class at . The independent sample t-test showed a significance value of indicating a significant difference between both classes. In addition, the effect size value of was categorized as high. Therefore, the implementation of Ethno-Sasak-based LKPD through the Problem Based Learning model provided positive and effective benefits in improving students’ numeracy skills in statistics material at SMAN 3 Mataram.]]>
