<![CDATA[Background: of this research is based on the observation of the researcher in the fifth grade at Budi Mulia 1 Private Elementary School Pematangsiantar that teachers still use conventional learning models, resulting in students being less involved in the learning process. This causes the learning process to be less optimal and students' learning outcomes do not meet the criteria for achieving learning objectives. From these problems, solutions need to be sought, one of which is by applying the Mind Mapping learning model. Method: This study uses a quantitative method with a Pre-Experiment research type and a One Group Pretest-Posttest research design with a sample of 25 students. Based:on the hypothesis test results with a significance level of 0.05, tcount is 21.333 with a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000, probability significant < 0.05, tcount > ttable = 22.007 > 1.708, therefore Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Conclusion: This explanation indicates that there is an effect of the Mind Mapping learning model on the Science and Social Studies learning outcomes of Grade V students at SD Swasta Budi Mulia 1 Pematangsiantar.]]>
