<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of using animated video media on students’ critical thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SD Negeri 26 Kota Lubuklinggau. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using one group pretest–posttest. The sample consisted of 21 fourth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through tests, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain score. The results showed an increase in the average pretest score of 54.33 to a posttest score of 81.00. The hypothesis test indicated a significant effect (p < 0.001), and the N-Gain score was 0.58 in the moderate category. It can be concluded that animated video media is effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills in PAI learning.]]>
