This study aims to develop MESABAR learning media (Soda Ketumbar Educational Media) on volcano eruption material for fifth-grade elementary school students and to determine its validity and practicality. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model consisting of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects were fifth- grade students at SD Negeri 04 Muara Enim. Data were collected through needs analysis questionnaires, expert validation sheets, and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that MESABAR media was successfully developed as a three-dimensional volcano model with an eruption simulation using simple materials. The material expert validation obtained 96.00%, and the media expert validation obtained 91.67%, with an average validity score of 93.84% categorized as highly valid. The practicality test showed student responses of 93.50% and teacher responses of 96.43%, categorized as highly practical. Therefore, MESABAR media is valid and practical to be used as IPAS learning media for volcano eruption material in fifth-grade elementary school.
