The rapid development of digital technology among adolescents has increased the risk of cyberbullying in the school environment. This study aims to determine the effect of empathy on cyberbullying prevention at SMK Negeri 3 Banjarmasin. The study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 333 students determined using the Slovin formula with a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that most students had a high level of empathy and cyberbullying prevention. The regression test showed a significant effect (F = 324.434; p < 0.001) with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 49.5%. These findings indicate that empathy plays an important role as an internal factor that encourages students to prevent cyberbullying. Therefore, strengthening empathy through guidance and counseling services is an important strategy in efforts to prevent cyberbullying in the school environment.
