Learning methods encompass various aspects that can be considered effective learning, one of which is the use of learning media. The selection and use of appropriate learning media can improve the effectiveness of the learning process and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the diorama media model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Rejosari 01 Semarang. This study also aimed to determine a more effective learning method in improving student learning outcomes. This study used a pre-experimental method, with the same group of students given two different learning treatments. The pretest and posttest results served as a reference for student learning outcomes, which were then analyzed statistically using a paired t-test and normalized gain (N-gain) to compare student learning outcomes and the effectiveness of the two learning methods. The results showed that the use of dioramas as learning media was more effective in improving student learning outcomes compared to the use of conventional learning media.
