This study aims to determine the effect of using Canva-based interactive video media on critical thinking skills in the science and social studies subject for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Mojosongo 5 Surakarta in the 2025/2026 academic year. A quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental Design was employed, using a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The population comprised 112 fourth-grade students, with a sample of 27 selected through Cluster Random Sampling. Data were collected through tests, observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument was validated and tested for reliability before use. Data analysis included a normality test as a prerequisite, followed by hypothesis testing using a Paired Sample t-Test with SPSS version 26. The results revealed that the average pretest score was 44.96, while the average posttest score was 60.56. The Paired Sample t-Test showed a t-count of 4.491 > t-table of 2.056, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. These findings indicate that the use of Canva-based interactive video media in learning facilitates students' active engagement in understanding the material and developing critical thinking skills. Thus, the use of Canva-based interactive video media has a significant effect on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in the science and social studies subject.
