<![CDATA[This study was motivated by students' low understanding of negotiation text materials due to the use of conventional teaching methods that were considered less engaging. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using digital comic media in teaching negotiation text comprehension to tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Samalanga. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 60 students from two classes, with 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, an independent-samples t-test, and N-Gain analysis with SPSS 25. The results showed that the mean posttest score of the experimental class was 88.00, higher than the control class mean of 68.67. The independent-samples t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two classes. The experimental class also obtained an average N-Gain of 80.62%, categorized as effective, while the control class obtained 53.52%, categorized as less effective. These findings indicate that digital comic media is effective in improving students' comprehension of negotiation texts.]]>
