Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency, is one of the areas vulnerable to flooding due to its physical characteristics and changes in land use. This study aimed to assess flood vulnerability using a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based spatial analysis. The analysis applied a scoring and weighting approach to evaluate five parameters: rainfall, slope, soil type, land use, and river density. Each parameter was classified into low, medium, and high vulnerability levels. The results show that flood vulnerability is primarily influenced by topographic conditions, hydrological characteristics, and human activities. Most of the study area falls into the medium vulnerability class, while high-risk zones are concentrated in areas with gentle slopes, intensive land use, and relatively dense river networks. The resulting flood vulnerability map provides essential information for spatial planning, disaster risk reduction, and flood mitigation strategies in Gerokgak District.
