<![CDATA[This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Sakinah Family Program among the Tajio indigenous community in Alindau Village, Sindue Tobata District, Donggala Regency. The study employed an empirical legal approach using qualitative methods with a case study design to obtain an in-depth understanding of the application of sakinah family values within the socio-cultural context of the Tajio community. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Extension Officers, the Head of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), and Tajio families, complemented by documentation and literature review. The findings reveal that although the respondent families have fulfilled the legal and administrative requirements of marriage according to Islamic law and state regulations, the implementation of sakinah family values has not been fully realized. Weak religious practices, limited participation in religious activities, economic constraints, and the absence of participation in the Marriage Guidance Program (Binwin) have hindered the internalization of spiritual, social, and emotional values within family life. Nevertheless, community-based religious guidance conducted through regular Friday evening gatherings has emerged as a culturally adaptive approach that supports family development. Therefore, strengthening sakinah families in indigenous communities requires collaborative and culturally responsive strategies involving religious institutions, traditional leaders, and local governments. This study contributes to the development of Islamic family law and family resilience literature by providing empirical evidence regarding the challenges and dynamics of establishing sakinah families within marginalized indigenous communities.]]>
