Technological advancements have increased the importance of digital literacy and self-efficacy in supporting work readiness among Generation Z. This study aims to examine the influence of digital literacy and self-efficacy on Generation Z’s work readiness in digital startup companies. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample consisted of 145 respondents selected using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique based on predetermined research criteria. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that digital literacy and self-efficacy each have a positive and significant effect on work readiness. Simultaneously, both variables also have a positive and significant effect on work readiness, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination shows an R-square value of 0.921 and an Adjusted R-square value of 0.919, indicating that 91.9% of the variation in Generation Z’s work readiness can be explained by digital literacy and self-efficacy, while the remaining 8.1% is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings suggest that Generation Z’s work readiness is influenced not only by digital competencies but also by individuals’ confidence in their abilities to adapt and perform in a digital work environment.
