This community service activity aims to enhance visual literacy and technical photography skills for students at SMP Kanisius Sumber through the use of professional digital cameras. The primary challenge faced by the partner was a high interest in visual content without a corresponding technical understanding of DSLR/mirrorless camera operation. The training was conducted over two days on November 6-7, 2025, involving 15 students. The method employed was experiential learning, which included a theoretical briefing on the Exposure Triangle concept and guided field practice supervised by two members of the service team. The results indicated a significant qualitative improvement in the students' psychomotor and cognitive competencies. Students were able to explore the local potential around the school by utilizing bamboo and natural stone textures as aesthetic elements in portrait photography. This mentoring process successfully shifted the students' mindset from merely taking pictures to a creative process of constructing well-planned visual works with sharp focus and good composition
