Purpose − This study will analyze the commodification practices of content, audiences, and workers on the @infopku and @pkuline. As a new entity in the information media landscape, homeless media is not immune to practices of commodification, such as the dramatization of content, selling follower data and the capitalization of journalists' labor Method − This qualitative study used Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis method to analyze a content uploaded by @infopku and @pkuline by focusing on text analysis, discourse practice and sociocultural practice. Interviews were conducted with the @infopku and @pkuline account owner and the Press Council to support data enrichment. Findings − The results show that @infopku and @pkuline commodifies content by prioritizing elements of dramatization and simplification. Audiences are commodified by collecting follower data, such as the age and gender of the account's followers, and then offering it to clients. The commodification of workers was revealed when the @infopku and @pkuline account republished journalists' work in the media without compensation. The account owner also engaged in self-commodification of workers by providing content for the Instagram platform for free, without receiving any incentives.
