Visitor logbook recording at the State Administrative High Court (PTTUN) of Palembang has traditionally relied on a physical guestbook, which creates several problems such as difficulty in retrieving past records, the risk of data loss or damage, illegible handwriting, and the absence of automatic data recapitulation for reporting and security-monitoring purposes. This study aims to design and build a web-based Digital Guestbook Information System using the Prototype development method, integrating self-service visitor data entry, entry and exit verification by security officers, and visit monitoring and reporting by administrators and management within a single, unified platform. The system design is modeled using a Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Class Diagram, and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), then implemented using the PHP Native, and a MySQL database. The results show that the developed system speeds up guest registration without a physical logbook, automatically generates queue numbers, facilitates exit-time confirmation by security officers, and provides statistical dashboards and visit reports that can be filtered and exported to PDF.
