This study aims to compare the results of cut and fill volume calculations using the Grid and Cross Section methods against the Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) method as a reference, based on topographic data processed using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using coordinate and elevation data obtained from topographic measurements. Data processing was conducted using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2026, with a 10 × 10 m grid size applied in the Grid method. The results were compared using the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and percentage difference in volume. The TIN method produced a cut volume of 12,484.50 m³ and a fill volume of 25,339.83 m³. The Grid method produced 12,071.49 m³ of cut and 24,786.27 m³ of fill, while the Cross Section method produced 11,789.62 m³ of cut and 24,413.91 m³ of fill. Based on the RMSE and percentage difference, the Grid method produced results closer to TIN than the Cross Section method.
