The village of Kebonagung in Gresik Regency, East Java, is known as the largest lime-producing market in Indonesia and has highly strategic agricultural potential. This study aims to analyze the sustainability of lime farming from ecological and economic perspectives. Sampling was conducted using probability sampling with a proportionate random sampling approach, specifically 25% from institutional groups (5 respondents) and 50% from farmer groups (40 lime farmers). The ecological dimension was analyzed using the Weighted Mean Score (WMS), while the economic dimension was assessed through income and the viability of the farming operations. The results showed that, based on the WMS analysis, the ecological dimension of lime farming in Kebonagung Village was classified as highly sustainable because farmers used fertilizers and pesticides according to recommendations, were beginning19 to switch to organic fertilizers, managed waste by turning it into compost and MOL (Microbial Organic Liquid), and received support from extension workers and the government, all of which reinforced environmentally friendly practices. In terms of the economic dimension, this farming operation generates an average income of Rp. 22,504,051.54/ha with total costs of Rp. 9,661,948.43/ha and a R/C ratio of 3.32, indicating that lime farming in Kebonagung Village is viable for development. The conclusion of this study is that lime farming is sustainable from both ecological and economic perspectives. Recommendations include those farmers maintain environmentally friendly practices and proper farm management, while efforts to strengthen market access and provide support through guidance and sustainable technology should be enhanced.
