<![CDATA[The importance of using social media as a source of information to increase interest in political issues in the management of organizations, as part of the role of students in understanding and responding to the development of political issues. The problems found include the low interest of some ormawa administrators in political issues, the lack of use of social media as a source of political information, and not all organizations encourage their members to actively participate in political discussions or activities. This study aims to determine the influence of the frequency of information searches through social media on the interest in political issues and to find out the types of issues that are of interest to the management of the Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung State Islamic University ormawa. In this study, a quantitative approach was used with a survey method, namely through the distribution of questionnaires to 95 respondents as a sample of the management of the Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung State Islamic University who were randomly selected (random sampling). The research data was analyzed using a simple linear regression technique assisted by SPSS version 21 software. The results of this study stated that the frequency of searching for information through social media had an effect on interest in political issues with a contribution of 25.1%. Even though the percentage is relatively low, social media still plays a role as a relevant and easily accessible source of information so that it can increase interest, understanding and engagement on political issues. Issues of interest include human rights, government policies, elections, and corruption, and the most important are human rights. Political interests are influenced by organizational experience, academic environment, social engagement, and information exposure, with social media acting as a relevant, engaging, and accessible source of information.]]>
