<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the challenges of students' academic ethics in the digital era which demands strengthening of basic values in the learning process at universities. The study aimed to analyze the perceptions of 2022 cohort students regarding the role of the Pancasila Course in the formation of academic ethics and to identify the factors influencing those perceptions in the Civic Education Study Program at Universitas Bhinneka PGRI. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed involving eight students as the main informants, along with the Pancasila Course lecturer and the Head of the Civic Education Study Program as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation and were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The findings revealed that students had positive perceptions of the role of the Pancasila Course in shaping academic ethics. The course was perceived as fostering honesty, responsibility, integrity, and mutual respect, which were reflected in students’ academic behavior. These perceptions were influenced by internal factors, including self-awareness, personal principles, and learning motivation, as well as external factors, such as the social environment, lecturers’ roles, learning methods, institutional regulations, and technological developments.
