This research is motivated by findings that the gross motor development of children aged 5–6 years at RA Plus Fatahul Wardah Palembang is still not optimal, with approximately 75% of children experiencing difficulties in maintaining balance, coordinating movements, and performing physical activities such as jumping and catching a ball. This study aims to produce a pencak silat movement product designed to meet children's developmental needs in order to enhance their gross motor skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were children aged 5–6 years at RA Plus Fatahul Wardah Palembang, and data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered to experts and practitioners. The results indicated that the developed pencak silat movements were feasible, as shown by validation scores from Material Expert I (80%), Material Expert II (84.44%), Language Expert (90%), Media Expert I (93.33%), and Media Expert II (80%). The practicality level reached 96%, while the effectiveness level from both preliminary and main field trials yielded consistent results of 80% (interview) and 94.16% (instrument). The Independent Sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.01 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the pencak silat movements on improving children's gross motor development. Thus, the developed pencak silat movements are validated as practical and effective for enhancing gross motor development in early childhood.
