Enhancing shallot productivity should focus on efficient, environmentally sustainable cultivation practices. Innovations in cultivation, such as the use of liquid organic fertilizers and plant growth regulators like Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP), represent a promising approach to sustainably improving yield. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of liquid organic fertilizer and BAP on the growth and yield of shallot plants, and to examine the interaction between different liquid organic fertilizer doses and BAP concentrations. The experiment was arranged using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two treatment factors. The first factor consisted of four levels of liquid organic fertilizer: 0 mL L?¹, 50 mL L?¹, 100 mL L?¹, and 150 mL L?¹, applied to the growing media. The second factor was BAP concentration, with three levels (0 ppm, 100 ppm, and 200 ppm), applied via foliar spraying. The combination of these factors resulted in 12 treatment combinations, each replicated three times, yielding a total of 36 experimental units. Each unit consisted of two plants, resulting in a total of 72 plants. The results indicated that the application of 500 mL L-1 liquid organic fertilizer combined with 200 ppm BAP significantly affected plant height at 5 weeks after planting (WAP) and had a significant single-factor effect on root number. A significant interaction effect was observed on plant height at 5 WAP. However, no significant effects were found on the number of tillers, stomatal number, stomatal density, bulb diameter, and overall shallot productivity.
