The increasing use of single-use sachet packaging has contributed to the growing amount of multilayer plastic waste in Indonesia. Multilayer plasticis difficult to recycle because it has a layered structure and heterogeneous material properties. In road pavement contruction, this waste has the potential to be utilized as an additive material in asphalt mixtures. This study ains to determine the effect of adding multilayer plastic waste on the Marshall Characteristics of Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) mixtures. The research was conducted using the dry process method, in which multilayer plastic was first mixed with heated aggregates before asphalt binder was added. The variations of multilayer plastic content used were 2%, 4%, and 6% by weight of asphalt. The Marshall parameters analyzed included stability, flow, Void in Mix (VIM), Void Filled with Bitumen (VFB), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), and Marshall Quotient (MQ). The results showed that the addition of multilayer plastic affected the Marshall characteristics of AC-WC mixtures. Certain plastics contents were able to improve the stability and Marshall Quotient values, while excessive plastic content tended to affect the volumetric properties of mixture. The utilization of multilayer plastic waste in asphalt mixtures is expected to become an alternative solution for reducing multilayer plastic waste while supporting the development of more sustainable and environmentally friendly pavement materials in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12 related to responsible consumption and production. Parameter Marshall yang dianalisis meliputi stabilitas, flow, Void in Mix (VIM), Void Filled with Bitumen (VFB), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), dan Marshall Quotient (MQ).
