<![CDATA[This study analyzes the da‘wah communication strategies employed by Islamic religious counselors through the Moderate Generation Program in shaping the religious character of youth in West Muna Regency. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the forms of da‘wah communication implemented in the Moderate Generation Program by Islamic religious counselors in West Muna Regency; (2) to analyze the strategies used by Islamic religious counselors in fostering the religious character of the younger generation in West Muna Regency; and (3) to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors encountered by Islamic religious counselors in shaping the religious character of youth in the region. The background of this study is grounded in the low level of youth participation in religious activities, alongside the challenges posed by globalization, digitalization, and the growing tendency toward extreme or permissive religious attitudes. The Moderate Generation Program emerges as an innovation in da‘wah that emphasizes the values of religious moderation, aiming to instill a balanced, contextual, and contemporary understanding of Islam. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving Islamic religious counselors and youth participating in the program. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that da‘wah communication within the Moderate Generation Program is carried out through persuasive, dialogical, and participatory approaches, utilizing interpersonal and group communication. The da‘wah strategies applied include adapting materials to the needs of youth, using communicative language, strengthening exemplary behavior, and internalizing the values of religious moderation. Inhibiting factors identified include the low level of religious awareness among some youth, limited supporting facilities, and the strong influence of digital media that is often inconsistent with religious values.]]>
