This study aims to develop an automatic teacher attendance system using electronic identity cards (e-KTP) based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and NodeMCU ESP8266 at SMAN 1 Lasusua. The system was developed as a solution to improve the efficiency of the attendance process, which was previously conducted manually and had several limitations, including longer processing times, potential recording errors, and difficulties in managing and recapitulating attendance data. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing, attendance processing speed testing, WiFi connectivity testing, LCD and Buzzer functionality testing, and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The test results showed an overall success rate of 95.93%, indicating that the processes of identification, data processing, transmission, and storage functioned according to the designed specifications. The average attendance processing time was 3.93 seconds, which was faster than the manual method. Furthermore, the system obtained a SUS score of 83.3, indicating that it is feasible to use. Therefore, the developed system can improve the efficiency, speed, accuracy, and ease of managing teacher attendance data automatically.
