Leadership transcends a mere structural mechanism for institutional direction; it is a process of social influence designed to optimize collective efforts toward the achievement of shared objectives (Northouse, 2018). This qualitative research employs a case study approach to analyze how the dualistic characteristics of local leadership serve as a driving force for the sustainability of the Bengkel Edupreneur Berdikari CSR program, an initiative by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Integrated Terminal Semarang. Drawing upon Max Weber’s theory of Leadership Authority and the concept of CSR Program Sustainability, the findings reveal a leadership synergy established by two local leaders: Yasin, who manifests a traditional-charismatic authority that maintains social cohesion, and Fajar, who represents a legal-rational authority grounded in technical automotive competence. This synergy plays a pivotal role in sustaining the program by effectively integrating the core concepts of sustainable development.
