<![CDATA[The stability of underground mine openings depends heavily on the effectiveness of the support systems installed. tunnel sawah luwung at PT Bukit Asam Tbk Ombilin Mining Unit is a long-standing opening currently utilized as a natural laboratory and mining tourism destination. As the tunnel ages, support materials undergo degradation due to both natural and environmental factors, necessitating systematic maintenance procedures to ensure operational safety. This study aims to analyze the physical condition of existing supports, evaluate the maintenance procedures implemented in the field, and identify constraints in the maintenance process. The research method involves field observations, interviews, and literature studies regarding the standard operating procedures (SOP) for support maintenance. The results are expected to provide an overview of the level of support damage and the effectiveness of maintenance actions taken, as well as offer recommendations for procedural improvements to maintain the long-term stability of tunnel sawah luwung. These recommendations can serve as a basis for the company to evaluate and improve safety, maintain the stability of the Lubang Sawah Luwung, and ensure the sustainability of its long-term utilization.]]>
