<![CDATA[Background: Effective drug inventory management supported by management information systems improves data accuracy, inventory efficiency, drug availability, and the quality of pharmaceutical services. Subject: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a management information system on medication inventory management at Pharmacy A, Pharmacy B, Pharmacy C, and Pharmacy D in Pagar Alam City based on the Human, Organization, and Technology-Fit (HOT-Fit) model. Methods: The study employed a descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected by distributing a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire to 16 respondents, consisting of pharmacy owners, responsible pharmacists, and pharmaceutical technical staff. Descriptive analysis was conducted to examine the human, organizational, and technological aspects, as well as the benefits derived from the use of the management information system. Results: The results showed that the effectiveness of medication inventory management before the implementation of the management information system was 57.26%, classified as “ineffective,” and subsequently increased to 86.69% after the system was implemented, classified as “highly effective.” All dimensions of the HOT-Fit model also showed positive results, as evidenced by high user acceptance, adequate organizational support, system quality that meets operational needs, and tangible benefits in improving the efficiency of medication inventory management. Thus, the management information system has proven effective in supporting medication inventory management at pharmacies in Pagar Alam City based on the HOT-Fit model.]]>
