<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the gap between the competencies of Vocational High School (SMK) graduates and the needs of the industrial world which contributes to the high unemployment rate. Field Work Practice (PKL) as an implementation of the link and match policy is expected to improve students' work readiness, but its success is influenced by technical competencies and soft skills. This study aims to analyze the influence of Building Information Modeling and Design (DPIB) competencies, teamwork, and interpersonal communication on the results of PKL of class XII DPIB students at State Vocational High Schools in East Java Province. The study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto causal design. The sample was 85 students selected from a population of 103 students using probability sampling with the Slovin formula. Data were collected through indirect observation using a Likert-based rating scale instrument that has been validated through expert judgment using the Aiken's V index. Data analysis used multiple linear regression after fulfilling the prerequisite test. The results showed that DPIB competencies, teamwork, and interpersonal communication had a positive and significant effect on PKL results, both partially and simultaneously. Interpersonal communication is the most dominant variable (β = 0.6087), followed by teamwork (β = 0.4226) and DPIB competence (β = 0.3037). Simultaneously, F = 79.74 and R² = 0.7470 were obtained, which indicates the importance of integrating technical competence and soft skills in vocational high school learning.]]>
