<![CDATA[The phenomenon of fatherlessness, where children grow up without the presence of a father, has a significant impact on children’s emotional, moral, and social development. This study analyzes the father’s role from a Qur’anic perspective, focusing on Misbah Musthafa’s Tafsir al-Iklīl fī Ma’āni al-Tanzīl. Employing a qualitative library research approach, the study examines Qur’anic verses related to fatherhood, including QS. As-Saffat [37]:102, QS. Luqman [31]:16–17, QS. Hud [11]:42, QS. Yusuf [12]:4–5, and QS. Al-Baqarah [2]:132–133. Misbah Musthafa’s interpretation highlights the father’s crucial role in guiding, protecting, and educating children with love, patience, and wisdom. This perspective aligns with contemporary theories of father involvement, emphasizing that parenting should be grounded in Islamic values through effective communication, consultation, and affection. The findings reinforces the father’s role as a key factor in children’s emotional, moral, spiritual, and social development. Moreover, the study offers a Qur’anic-based solution to the fatherlessness phenomenon by underscoring the necessity of active paternal involvement in nurturing, educating, and instilling life values, thereby shaping well-balanced, high-quality, and morally upright individuals.]]>
