<![CDATA[This study is motivated by the urgent need to preserve coastal ecosystems and improve the welfare of fishermen in Margasari Village. Sustainable coastal preservation and fisher empowerment have become critical issues in maintaining ecosystems and enhancing the quality of life for coastal communities. The aim of this research is to describe the process of coastal preservation and fisher empowerment in Margasari Village through the Maqasid Syariah approach, as well as to analyze the concept of Maqasid Syariah in this context. The research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, collecting data through interviews, observations, and document studies from relevant parties. The findings reveal that the application of Maqasid Syariah principles, such as protecting the environment, improving social welfare, and ensuring justice, forms the basis for the implementation of coastal preservation and fisher empowerment programs. The programs focus on the sustainability of coastal ecosystems as well as enhancing the skills and welfare of fishermen. Additionally, the Maqasid Syariah concept plays a role in the equitable management of natural resources, ensuring fair access for coastal communities, and prioritizing common interests. The conclusion of this study is that the Maqasid Syariah approach has successfully created a balance between fulfilling the economic needs of fishermen and ensuring sustainable environmental preservation.]]>
