Abstract. The increasing adoption of Work From Home (WFH) systems has intensified reliance on digital communication, creating expectations for individuals to remain constantly responsive to work-related messages. This condition may trigger workplace telepressure, which potentially disrupts work-life balance, particularly among university students undertaking internships while managing academic responsibilities. This study aimed to examine the effect of workplace telepressure on the four dimensions of work-life balance among Indonesian university students participating in WFH internships. A quantitative explanatory design was employed using non-probability purposive sampling. The participants consisted of 360 active university students who had completed at least one month of WFH internship. Data were collected using the Workplace Telepressure Measure and the Work-Life Balance Scale, and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings revealed that workplace telepressure had a significant negative effect on all four dimensions of work-life balance (p < 0.001). The strongest effects were observed on Personal Life Interference with Work and Work Interference with Personal Life, while weaker effects were found on the enhancement dimensions. These findings indicate that workplace telepressure primarily contributes to increased role interference rather than reducing positive interactions between work and personal life. The results highlight the importance of managing digital communication demands to support healthier work-life balance among university students undertaking WFH internships. Pengaruh terkuat ditemukan pada dimensi Personal Life Interference with Work dan Work Interference with Personal Life, sedangkan pengaruh terhadap dimensi enhancement relatif lebih lemah.
