<![CDATA[Burnout among healthcare workers is increasingly understood as an organisational rather than exclusively individual problem. This scoping review mapped recent evidence on organisational health-promoting conditions and healthcare worker burnout, distinguishing direct climate evidence from studies addressing related mechanisms or outcomes. Following Joanna Briggs Institute guidance and PRISMA-9 standards, Scopus and PubMed were searched as primary databases and ScienceDirect and JSTOR as supplementary sources for English-language publications from January 2021 to June 2026. Screening, full-text assessment, and data charting were conducted by one reviewer using Population–Concept–Context eligibility criteria. No formal critical appraisal was undertaken. Fourteen sources were included: five direct primary studies, four proxy or mechanism studies, four contextual evidence syntheses, and one non-healthcare longitudinal study illustrating a possible climate–leadership mechanism. Direct studies generally indicated that supportive organisational conditions were associated with lower burnout. Health-oriented leadership and implementation infrastructure emerged as potential mechanisms, whereas workload, inflexible scheduling, and inadequate monitoring were recurring barriers. Nevertheless, few studies directly examined organisational climate and burnout, and most evidence was cross-sectional and conceptually heterogeneous. Accordingly, causal direction and independence of associations remain uncertain. Longitudinal, multilevel, and intervention research using harmonised, validated measures is required before firm organisational policy or healthcare practice recommendations can be made.]]>
