PENGARUH MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII PADA MATERI AKTIVITAS KEGIATAN EKONOMI DI SMPN 2 TAMBUSAI UTARA

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students in the Economic Activities topic at SMP Negeri 2 Tambusai Utara, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The study involved 46 students, with class VII-A serving as the experimental group and class VII-B as the control group. Data were collected through tests and observations and analyzed using inferential statistics. The results showed that the experimental group achieved a mean score of 79.39, categorized as high, while the control group obtained a mean score of 42.78, categorized as low. The Independent Samples t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of H₁. Therefore, the implementation of the Project Based Learning model had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes in the Economic Activities topic.
