<![CDATA[Environmental issues such as waterlogging during the rainy season and drought during the dry season continue to pose hydrological challenges in the city of Tasikmalaya. Through the Community Education Science Practice Program (PIPENMAS) 2026, HIMAPENMAS Universitas Siliwangi is present in Mugarsari Village to offer citizen participation-based solutions. This service program uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) and Community Development approach, targeting residents of RW 03 and members of the Kusari Women's Farmer Group (KWT) in RW 06. The two main programs launched are the Biopori Care House (RUMPI) and the RESIK KUSARI action. Field results show a significant increase in residents' understanding of water conservation, from an initial 60% to 95% after being educated by Mrs. Deviani, A.Md. In terms of practical skills, residents and students successfully installed 23 biopore infiltration holes, one meter deep, in their yards, from an initial target of 25 units. Evaluation on the seventh day (H+7) showed that 65.2% of the biopore holes had been actively used by residents to process kitchen waste. Meanwhile, the RESIK KUSARI program successfully revived the KWT land through the creation of new beds and the planting of chili and peanut seedlings to support local food security.
