<![CDATA[The purpose of this service activity is to increase understanding of choosing safe foods to support healthy living in children. The target of this activity is high-class students at SDN 2 Sesela Gunungsari, West Lombok. Method in delivering material with discussion and question and answer. The discussion on choosing safe food by providing concrete examples of safe food and through related pictures choosing safe, healthy and nutritious food. In the implementation of the activity, pretests and postes were also carried out. Improving student understanding is carried out by calculating normalized gains from pretest and post-test results, then consulted into low, medium or high categories. The activity was attended by 4th grade students and 23 people were present at the time of the implementation. The implementation of the service went smoothly, the students who attended participated in the activity from start to finish with full responsibility. During the implementation of the activity, the enthusiasm of the students was very high. The result of the normalized gain calculation was 0.14, which means that students' understanding increased in the low category. It can be concluded that the understanding of choosing safe food in SDN2 Sesela students increased in the low category.
