Difficulties in understanding the rules of naḥwu stem from various factors, including ineffective learning methods and a lack of active student involvement. This study aims to test the influence of the mnemonic method on student learning outcomes in naḥwu at the Insan Mulia Islamic Boarding School. The method used is quantitative, employing a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design in two groups: the experimental group (batch 1 students) and the control group (batch 2 students). The results of the study show that using the mnemonic method significantly improves student learning outcomes. This is evident in the experimental class's average score increasing by 43.27%, compared to a smaller increase in the control group. The normality and homogeneity tests showed that the data were eligible for statistical analysis. Thus, the mnemonic method has proven effective as an alternative strategy for overcoming difficulties in learning naḥwu, improving memory, and motivating students in the learning process. The main contribution of this research is to present a more interesting, easier-to-understand, and more effective method for conveying complex naḥwu material.
