<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the language abilities of children in Group A at Fermata Bunda Kindergarten, Biparae District, Bandung Regency, through the storytelling method assisted by audio-visual media. The study employed a CAR approach conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 11 children in Group A. Data were collected through observation, descriptive rating scales, and documentation and analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results indicated a gradual improvement in the language abilities of children following the implementation of the storytelling method using audio-visual media. In the initial condition, only 18% of children demonstrated the ability to understand the presented information, which increased to 36% in Cycle I. Improvements were also observed in children’s attention, story comprehension, vocabulary use, ability to answer questions, confidence in expressing ideas, and ability to retell information. The study established an achievement criterion of 80% as the indicator of success. Audio-visual media supported storytelling by presenting information through integrated visual and auditory stimuli, making learning more concrete, engaging, and communicative. The findings indicate that audio-visual media-assisted storytelling can improve children’s language abilities and serve as an effective alternative for stimulating language development in early childhood education.]]>
